Scott Darroch joined Brakes at a time when they boasted a wealth of striking talent and were in the midst of one of their best seasons, so subsequently he didn't stay long before returning to former club Stratford Town, but he will be well remembered for his debut as Brakes faced Barwell in the First Round of the League Cup having lost to them in the final the previous season. Stepping off the bench, Scott scored an absolute screamer to put us 2-0 up and on the way to victory.
