Callum joined Brakes in a loan deal in late February 2022 that lasted to the end of the season. He made 11 appearances, keeping 5 clean sheets and impressing the supporters as he shared the goalkeeping duties with Jake Weaver in a congested end to the season. 

 

Callum returned in Summer 2022 on a season long loan, which was sadly cut short after 31 games in a match against Blyth Spartans, when he ruptured his ACL and torn both his lateral and medial menisci, meaning that his season was over. Despite this massive setback both Callum and his family continued to travel from their home in South Yorkshire to support the team at several games, endearing them even more to both the club and the supporters. Callum was presented with the Media Team's Player of the Season award at the end of the campaign.
