Morton Titterton was one of a number of players that Jason Cadden had been trying to get on board for some time, and he finally got his man in October 2005 with Brakes in the midst of a marathon 64 game season. His experience and know how was invaluable both on and off the pitch, and he effectively hung up his boots at the end of the following season as Leamington returned to the Southern League off the back of a league and cup double in the Midland Alliance. 'Morts' made no secret of the fact that he wished he had been able to play for Leamington much earlier in his career as he enjoyed it so much, but after a couple more appearances in 2007/08 he concentrated more on the coaching side, helping the club to the Southern League Midland Division title in 2008/09 which he had previously won as a player with Hinckley United.

Highly thought of by everybody at the club, Morton was asked to stay on after Jason Cadden's departure in October 2009 but declined, taking charge of the following game in the FA Trophy against Stourbridge before saying his goodbyes. He later went on to manage our neighbours Stratford Town, with Cadsey and Paul Eden.
