Signed from: Canvey Island

Brakes debut: 02/10/10 v Oxford City - Southern League Premier Division - Won 2-0

Appearances: 32

Goals: 15

2010/11: 28 starts, 4 sub appearances, 15 goals

Paul Holleran paid a fee to Canvey Island to secure the services of striker James Rowe, who had moved up to the Midlands to take on a coaching role at Birmingham City. Having bagged 28 goals in 44 games the previous season he came with a good pedigree, and excited the Brakes support with his pace and eye for goal, scoring almost one every two games as Brakes finished the season in the Play Off places. In fact, when you take into account that he didn't score his first goal for the club until his seventh appearance his strike rate is more impressive. Unfortunately he did not re-sign for the following camapaign.
