Leamington born Joe spent seven seasons with his home town club after joining us in the summer of 2012. Having won the Southern League Premier Division Championship with Brackley Town he added a second medal to his collection the following season with some solid workmanlike performances in the heart of the Brakes midfield. He won his third promotion from the Southern League in 2017 and played a big part in both defence and midfield once more back in the National League North despite not being a regular starter. He spent the majority of the 2018/19 campaign on dual registration forms at Tamworth.

Joe graduated from the Academy at Leicester City and featured for the Foxes reserve side before a loan spell at Conference side Woking in 2008.

After his release from Leicester, Joe made 21 appearances for Kings Lynn in 2009/2010 in the Northern Premier League. He was one of a number of players snapped up by Jon Brady at Brackley. He has also been capped by England at Under 18 level.
