Connor endured rotten luck with injuries over his last two seasons with the club, playing only five games in 2019/20 before a ligament injury ruled him out. Sadly he decided to leave us to join Nuneaton Borough during his rehabilitation, but his contribution to the Brakes cause will always be remembered. In almost 200 games in the Gold and Black since signing from Worcester City in February 2015 and making the left back position virtually his own, Connor didn't score many goals, but when he did they were spectacular ones. His career began in the Youth set up at Coventry City before playing for Tamworth in the Conference either side of spells at Hinckley United.
