Dan Turner is the latest member of Paul Holleran’s squad to agree a new deal for the forthcoming 2021/2022 season.
The striker, with over 40 first team appearances to his name at Port Vale, only joined Brakes in January from Hednesford Town, scoring the winner from the penalty spot on his brief but impressive debut in what turned out to be our final league game of the season at Chorley. He was unable to play in our final two games in the FA Trophy due to being cup tied, but is champing at the bit to get started on a full season in Gold and Black.
‘I was really excited to sign when I found out about the interest, and once speaking to the manager I knew it made it an even easier decision for me to sign,’ said the 22 year old.
‘My debut went really well and I was hoping to kick on from there so it was really frustrating to find out the news of another null and void season.
‘Playing at a higher level personally and hopefully in front of all the fans is what I’m looking forward to the most this season! I have certain targets I’ve set for myself, but let’s just say to score plenty of goals and to help the team carry on last season's form are my main priorities.’
