Summer acquisition Alex Cowley has suffered a set-back to his immediate Brakes future by sustaining a foot injury that looks likely  to keep him out of contention for four to six weeks.

Manager Paul Holleran stated, 'It is disappointing for both Alex and ourselves but these things happen and it shows why you need a strong squad.  Fortunately in this past week we have acquired the services of  Danny Edwards and Darren Stapleton who along with Jimmy Husband give us good cover and left footed options.  We also have a number of versatile players in Chris Murphy and Michael Tuohy  who can operate very effectively on that side.'
