We are delighted to announce that the next guest speaker in our series of Sportsmans Evenings will be former professional footballer and manager RON ATKINSON. In the early 1990's and 2000's he was also one of Britains best known football pundits.

He spent his playing career at Oxford United, where he still holds the club record for appearances. As a manager, he won the FA Cup with Manchester United in 1983 and 1985 and the Football League Cup with Sheffield Wednesday in 1991 and Aston Villa in 1994.

‘Big Ron’ has also managed Coventry City, Nottingham Forest, West Bromwich Albion & Athletico Madrid amongst others.

Thought of as one of the finest, funniest and controversial speakers on the after-dinner circuit, he can call on a long career as a player and manager for stories that are never less than interesting and often quite hilarious, and he also has his adventures at the microphone to keep his audiences amused and, often, amazed.

Ron will be supported on the evening by top comedian and compere LESTER CRABTREE.

For more information or to book tickets please contact Kevin Watson on 07598 133125 or Simon Davies on 07769 682680. Alternatively drop an email to commercial@leamingtonfc.co.uk

Tickets are priced at £50 each or a corporate table of 10 can be booked for £450
