Paul Holleran moved to bolster his attacking options towards the end to last season with the capture of Courtney Baker Richardson from fellow Premier Division side Kettering Town.
The 20 year old Coventry born striker came through the youth system at his home town club and made his debut for the Sky Blues in an FA Cup 2nd Round tie at Hartlepool United in December 2013. He also spent time on loan at Tamworth in the 2013-14.
After being released at the end of that season he started the following campaign at Romulus, his performances and goal scoring bringing him to the attention of Nuneaton Town, where he spent a brief spell before joining Redditch United.
A promising start to this season saw Courtney score several goals for the Poppies, but a leg injury curtailed his progress, and having been confined mainly to the substitute bench he opted to make the switch.
Courtney endeared himself to the Brakes support, scoring twice on his full debut in a dramatic last gasp victory at Hungerford Town. He also scored a injury time equaliser at Redditch in the play-off semi-final, and the opener in the final at Hungerford, and will be looking to cement his place in the forward positions in the new season.
