Paul Holleran has moved to cover the loss of the in form Colby Bishop for the season by bringing in highly rated young forward Daniel Udoh in a loan deal from League 2 side Crewe Alexandra.
The 21 year old has spent time in the non league game both prior to and since joining the Alex in March 2016. Born in Nigeria, Daniel moved to England with his family at the age of 9, and spent time in the Youth system at Luton Town and Stevenage. He was also called up to play for the Nigeria Under 17 side.
Daniel has turned out for the likes of Kidderminster Harriers and Worcester City, but it was at Ilkeston that his form came to the attention of Crewe, who signed him on a two year contract. He quickly made his debut for the first team and scored his first goal early in the following campaign. This season he has spent a successful loan spell at Halesowen Town where he scored 7 goals, including two in a Black Country derby win against Stourbridge. He also spent time at Chester FC last month.
We would like to welcome Daniel to Leamington FC and hope he enjoys his time with us.
