Leamington FC Manager Paul Holleran's efforts in turning round the fortunes of the Brakes team have been recognised with him receiving the October Vanarama National League North 'Manager of the Month Award'. A potentially difficult month for the team saw them turn the form book upside down with an away win at then second placed Salford City who were on a eleven game unbeaten run. This was followed by a 2-2 home draw with former league club York City and then another road trip to top of the table Harrogate Town and another 2-2 draw. Brakes then defeated recent FA Trophy winners North Ferriby United 3-0 at home, making it a total of eight points gained in a hugely successful month.
Manager Paul Holleran stated, 'I am delighted to receive this award that reflects upon the efforts of all the management team and players. We have worked hard to turn around a difficult start to the season and the trophy is a small recognition of that hard work. We can't slacken off as the quality of teams in this league make it a very unforgiving one and we need to maintain the standards of the past two months.'
