The club held a 'Bucket Collection' at Saturday's home fixture v Frome Town in support of former Frome Town player Jamie Mines who suffered a tragic accident at his work as a scaffolder. A fantastic £445 was raised.

Just days before Christmas Jamie was working at height on scaffolding in Swindon and was electrocuted so severely he had to be rescued by the emergency services resulting in him being placed into an induced coma in a critical condition. He subsequently had both hands amputated up to his forearm and also one of his legs in order to keep him alive.

He remains in hospital and sadly missed his first Christmas with his then five month old daughters.

Numerous fund raising activity has taken place with over £130K now raised towards supporting him and his family.

Anybody who was unable to make Saturday's fixture and feel that they would like to help, donations can also be made here.

Jamie, on behalf of everyone connected with Leamington FC we wish you the best recovery possible and the best for you and your family.
