Paul Holleran has utilised his contacts book to good effect again to add young Wrexham winger Callum Powell to his squad as Brakes embark on another tough month of fixtures in the Evostik Southern League Premier Division.
Callum, who turned 21 last week, was born in Coventry, and came through the Youth Academy at Northampton Town before spending time in Vancouver in Canada on a scholarship programme at the Simon Fraser University.
Returning home, Callum linked up with Rugby Town for the 2015/2016 season and made over 40 appearances, scoring 9 goals. His form caught the eye of then Wrexham boss Gary Mills, and he signed a one year deal with the National League club last summer. He has made 24 appearances for the first team so far this season, scoring twice on his first start for the club in a 2-2 draw at Maidstone United.
We would like to welcome Callum to the club and hope he enjoys his short time with us.
